Introduction

After installing Escalate Anywhere via the LiveChat Marketplace, follow the steps below to complete the setup. This should only take a couple of minutes per LiveChat group.

Step 1:

Head to the app settings screen by going to:

LiveChat > Apps > Escalate Anywhere > Settings.

Step 2:

Select the first group you'd like to create an Escalate Anywhere form for.

Step 3:

Under "Form Fields" add the information you'd like included. For starters, we recommend:

Name as a Short text

Phone as a Short text

Email as a Short text

Summary as a Long text

But you can choose the fields that matter to you.

Click save.

‍

Step 4:

Under Email Escalation, add the emails that you'd like the escalation form to be sent to e.g. salesdirector@mycompanyname.com. You can add more than one if you'd like, they'll all be included.

Toggle Email Escalation on. Click save.

Step 5:

Repeat steps 2 to 4 for your other Live Chat groups.

Step 6:

Test! Create a chat and complete the Escalation Anywhere form. This will be available within the visitor details / chat sidebar feature on LiveChat. Your chosen emails configured under step 4 should receive the chat and contents of the form.
